(b) URL-based loading: If you place data in URL query parameters, the URL is transmitted with page requests and may be recorded in hosting service logs. Do not place sensitive data in URLs. When you import from a URL, your browser sends a request to the source you specify.

(c) Local session retention: The editor saves your input in your browser’s sessionStorage, rather than only in memory, so it can survive page navigation and reloads. This locally stored content belongs to the current tab session and is typically cleared when that tab is closed. Navigating away or reloading does not guarantee removal; you can also clear it through your browser’s site-data controls.

(d) Optional sharing: If you choose to share a comparison result, the compared content is uploaded to our share server and stored until the expiration time you select (7 days, 30 days, 1 year, or forever for small payloads). Anyone with the share link can view the shared content. After the share expires, the content is no longer accessible.
